hi and welcome to sparklin labs! we're the makers of superpowers,the 2d+3d game making software! with superpowers, you can create gamesonline with anyone in the world. it's freaking awesome! so, we've been building superpowersfor almost a year and a half with my buddies bilou and pixel-boy. from the start, we decided it would be open source. which means... (looking for the right word...) completely... open!

it is free and so is the source code. anyone can come in and fiddle with it, improve it and contribute back. and that's pretty cool. our goal is to democratize game development. what does that mean? we want to provide tools that will allow anybody, no matter their initial level of technical ability, to build all kind of creative stuff. especially video games,since that's what we're all about.

but superpowers is actually an extensible platform. people will be able to design new project types. it won't be limited to video games. one will be able to build slideshows, write books, edit videos maybe. use other game engines! i don't know... any other ideas? ... websites! the software works right now! many games have already been built with superpowers. the website for superpowers itselfwas built with superpowers, in real-time collaboration.

pretty fun, right? so we've been in early access since march 2015. we've been supported by... hmm... over 300 people, almost 350. there are lots and lots of improvementswe'd like to make to superpowers. and, well... we need your help! and that's why we're on patreon.
